La bonne nouvelle c&rsquo;est que j&rsquo;arrive \u00e0 avoir une d\u00e9coupe assez propre et rectiligne. La moins bonne c&rsquo;est que bien que l&rsquo;ouverture fasse tout le tour complet du safran et malgr\u00e9 l&rsquo;insertion d&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9ments, difficile d&rsquo;ecarter les deux joues et J&rsquo;ai l&rsquo;impression de contempler des tranches de jambon g\u00e9antes ou des poumons mis \u00e0 nu. C&rsquo;est tres diff\u00e9rent de l&rsquo;aspect int\u00e9rieur du safran de Marinou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J&rsquo;ignore d&rsquo;o\u00f9 peut venir la couleur rouge bordeaux. Ce qui est plus \u00e9vident, c&rsquo;est que le safran a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 ouvert et que quelqu&rsquo;un a entrepris de renforcer sa structure interne en impr\u00e9gnant une grande quantit\u00e9 de tissu avec de la r\u00e9sine. La structure m\u00e9tallique dispara\u00eet litt\u00e9ralement sous l&rsquo;epaisse couche. L&rsquo;ar\u00eate inf\u00e9rieure est tordue et seule la sup\u00e9rieure n&rsquo;est pas recouverte. Malgr\u00e9 son aspect souple, le materiau qui recouvre est tr\u00e8s dur au toucher. L&rsquo;ensemble est costaud, aucun doute l\u00e0 dessus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je suis perplexe sur la suite \u00e0 entreprendre. Initialement je pensais d\u00e9gager la strucure m\u00e9tallique, poncer le tout et refaire une stratification propre mais il est clair que la t\u00e2che sera ardue et que les outils dont je dispose ne me permettront pas de la mener \u00e0 bien. La ponceuse n&rsquo;attaque pas du tout le rev\u00eatement, il faudrait une meuleuse mais Ghismo d&rsquo;Edelvoilier avait fait un dossier dessus et il  d\u00e9conseille son emploi quand on ne maitrise pas parfaitement l&rsquo;enfin qui mal utilis\u00e9 peut provoquer une catastrophe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et puis est ce  bien n\u00e9cessaire de tout refaire ? Malgr\u00e9 la methode peu orthodoxe employ\u00e9e, la structure me semble saine et ne montre pas de signe de faiblesse suite au contact prolong\u00e9 avec l&rsquo;eau qui s&rsquo;\u00e9tait introduite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je finis par d\u00e9cider de laisser le tout tel quel et de recoller le safran.  Une partie de moi r\u00e9p\u00e8te \u00ab\u00a0tout \u00e7a pour \u00e7a\u00a0\u00bb mais l&rsquo;autre lui r\u00e9pond gentiment que le fait d&rsquo;ouvrir le safran a permis d&rsquo;evacuer l&rsquo;eau, de bien s\u00e9cher l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur et de s&rsquo;assurer de l&rsquo;\u00e9tat et de la solidit\u00e9 de la structure, pas si mal comme r\u00e9sultat !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Plat_de_resistance_la_choucroute\"><\/span>Plat de r\u00e9sistance : la choucroute<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Quatre mois se sont \u00e9coul\u00e9s depuis l&rsquo;ouverture du safran quand je suis enfin pr\u00eat au niveau mat\u00e9riel (et psychologique !) \u00e0 me lancer dans la phase d\u00e9licate du recollage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il me faut pour cela manipuler des produits toxiques pour lesquels ma seule exp\u00e9rience se limite \u00e0 la lecture de tutoriels et de vid\u00e9os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Ce que l&rsquo;on  nomme commun\u00e9ment \u00ab\u00a0choucroute\u00a0\u00bb est en fait de la <strong>colle polyester arm\u00e9e<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>C&rsquo;est une colle tr\u00e8s puissante qui contient de la fibre de verre (c&rsquo;est en cela qu&rsquo;elle est \u00ab\u00a0arm\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb) qui lui conf\u00e8re sa r\u00e9sistance. Elle est accompagn\u00e9e d&rsquo;un catalyseur, un liquide qu&rsquo;il faut m\u00e9langer selon un dosage pr\u00e9cis qui varie en fonction de la temp\u00e9rature (1 \u00e0 3% en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral). Une fois les deux produits m\u00e9lang\u00e9s, la r\u00e9action chimique se d\u00e9clenche et on dispose d&rsquo;un temps limit\u00e9 pour l&rsquo;appliquer (20 minutes grosso modo). Ce temps d\u00e9pend du dosage du catalyseur et de la temp\u00e9rature : plus il fait chaud, moins on a de temps. Pour cette raison, il vaut mieux n&rsquo;utiliser qu&rsquo;une petite partie du produit pour le m\u00e9lange avec le catalyseur, et renouveler l&rsquo;operation autant de fois que n\u00e9cessaire. Le masque 3M est excellent, les lunettes \u00e9galement mais avec l&rsquo;effort, elles se couvrent de bu\u00e9e et il faut que je les retire par moments et que je les essuie pour pouvoir continuer d&rsquo;y voir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une chose importante : la colle arm\u00e9e de polyester degage une odeur tr\u00e8s forte qu&rsquo;on peut facilement sentir \u00e0 10m \u00e0 la ronde ; m\u00eame en travaillant dehors, je me rendrai compte un peu tardivement qu&rsquo;il aurait fallu fermer portes et fen\u00eatres de la maison. A noter qu&rsquo;avec le masque 3M, on ne sent rien, ce n&rsquo;est que quand on le retire qu&rsquo;on r\u00e9alise l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 des effluves du produit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Je commence par racler de mani\u00e8re appliqu\u00e9e les deux moiti\u00e9s de safran. L&rsquo;id\u00e9e est d&rsquo;ameliorer l&rsquo;adh\u00e9rence de la colle. J&rsquo;ai de l&rsquo;essuie-tout pour essuyer les bavures, une poubelle, des gants de protection de rechange, des contenants en plastique, des spatules en bois&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;une balance, je p\u00e8se 200g de choucroute. La temperature  est de 27\u00b0C. Celle-ci vise \u00e0 renforcer l&rsquo;ext\u00e9rieur du safran par l&rsquo;appostion successive de couches de fibre de verre impr\u00e9gn\u00e9e de r\u00e9sine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>J&rsquo;ai longtemps h\u00e9sit\u00e9 entre la r\u00e9sine polyester et la r\u00e9sine Epoxy.  La premi\u00e8re a pour elle d&rsquo;\u00eatre plus \u00e9conomique mais elle n&rsquo;est pas \u00e9tanche. L&rsquo;Epoxy est \u00e9tanche et plus r\u00e9sistante  ; en contrepartie, elle  est plus ch\u00e8re et d\u00e9crite comme plus d\u00e9licate \u00e0 manipuler. Bien que la r\u00e9sine Epoxy semble plus indiqu\u00e9e pour un safran qui est constamment immerg\u00e9,  j&rsquo;ai quand m\u00eame choisi la r\u00e9sine polyester,  tout simplement pour coller &#8211; sans jeu de mots \ud83d\ude09 &#8211; \u00e0 la technique du tutoriel de Marinou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Je ne d\u00e9crirai pas ici  le d\u00e9tail de la stratification que j&rsquo;ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9e tout simplement parce qu&rsquo;elle va se r\u00e9v\u00e9ler \u00eatre un monumental \u00e9chec ! <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>La stratification des deux premiers c\u00f4t\u00e9s du safran m&rsquo;a sembl\u00e9 de bonne facture,  mais je me suis totalement loup\u00e9 sur la suite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>\u00c7a a \u00e9t\u00e9  une cata de chez cata.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Le billet de blog \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/voilierkribi.fr\/index.php\/2022\/09\/30\/stratification-du-safran-chroniques-dun-echec\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"1036\">Stratification du safran : chroniques d&rsquo;un \u00e9chec<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb d\u00e9taille l&rsquo;op\u00e9ration. J&rsquo;ai donc d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de passer directement au gel coat et de faire l&rsquo;impasse sur  le renforcement ext\u00e9rieur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Application_du_gel_coat\"><\/span>Application du gel coat<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Le gel coat est une r\u00e9sine synth\u00e9tique qui sert \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger, \u00e9tanch\u00e9ifier et embellir les mat\u00e9riaux composites. Elle se pr\u00e9sente comme  de la peinture tr\u00e8s \u00e9paisse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u00e0 encore, nettoyage pr\u00e9alable \u00e0 l&rsquo;ac\u00e9tone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
